Panther Highlights

Building on Begode's experience with the Monster/MonsterPro 22" series in the large/long-range class of Wheels, the Panther sheds over 10lb of weight from the MasterPro, while increasing the power/torque with the all-new 168V battery/controller.

Motor: similar to the ET Max, the Panther also uses a 'tile-motor', with curved permanent magnets, effectively reducing the air-gap between the center stator & rotor providing a stronger magnet field.

Suspension: departing from the standard Begode suspension system of pillar-pipe/stanchions, linkages & a rear mounted shock, the Panther adopts a similar (developed in-house) cylindrical shock approach used on the Lynx. This has the benefit of being self-contained, eliminating the complexities & frequent issues associated with traditional Begode suspension, in addition to shedding some of the weight.

Ancillary Hardware: other new additions for the Panther are integrated bluetooth speakers, USB charging, atmospheric lighting, & super-bright 7,000 lumen headlight.

Frequently Asked Questions

When is the Panther expected to start shipping to customers? The first production is currently underway, we're aiming to start shipping these out to customers in April. Preorder holders will be provided with production and shipping updates as they roll in from Begode.

What are the key differences between the Panther, and similar wheels like the GT Pro+ and Master Pro?The Panther can be considered a combination of the best features from both of those models. It shares the 22" tire with the Master Pro for better stability at speed, while retaining most of the specs from the GT Pro+ (the current and potentially previous speed king) including the battery size and higher voltage, and features like Bluetooth music and USB-C charging for devices.

Will the tire be tubeless, or tube-type? It's looking like the tire will use a tube similar to the Master Pro, but we'll push Begode to see if it's possible to install a tubeless tire from the factory on the Panther.

Is the suspension going to be the same as the Commander Pro/GT Pro+? The shocks on the Panther will be a new design, not the same as previous Extreme Bull releases. Initial feedback on these shocks has been very positive, reportedly out-performing that of the GT Pro+, allowing for a smoother ride at higher speeds, which this wheel was designed for.

What is the maximum rate of charge?Begode is claiming an incredible 30A charging speed, which equates to over 5,000W! No charger exists yet that can deliver this much power, even on a 220V circuit. On a 120V circuit, the practical limit is still ~12A, while most fast chargers available can only do 9-10A at 168V with a 120V input, and up to 17-18A with a 220V input.

Is the pedal height adjustable? Can other Begode pedals be used? Yes, the pedal height can be adjusted, the spec sheet indicates about an inch of height difference between the two positions. The Panther uses Begode's new wider pedal brackets, meaning only pedals for newer wheels like the Blitz and X-Way are compatible.
