Frequently Asked Questions

When is the Rocket expected to start shipping to customers? We're still confirming the production timeline with Extreme Bull, but the first full production run is expected to begin in April. More details will be sent to pre-order holders as they roll in from Extreme Bull.

What differentiates the Rocket from other competitors in its size class, like the A2, Falcon, and Aero? The key draw of the Rocket is its very high top speed given its wheel size of over 40mph, owing to its higher voltage 168V 1500Wh battery, which is also the largest in its class. Since such speeds are difficult to maintain or even achieve on a smaller diameter wheel, the majority of riders will be hard-pressed to exceed this wheel's speed capabilities, which is itself a safety feature.

What accessories are included with this wheel? We'll be including a set of Beidou's 6-piece universal power pads with every Rocket, and the stock charger from the factory will be 168V/5A, for a full charge in under two hours!

What suspension system will be used? Similar to other Extreme Bull wheels like the Commander Pro, the Rocket will be using dual vertical coil shocks developed in-house by Extreme Bull, with a stated 100mm of vertical travel.

What tire options will be offered? At the moment, the Rocket is only planned to ship with a wide 90/90-10 tubeless street tire, but we'll see if Extreme Bull is open to a knobby tire option as well.

Is the pedal height adjustable? How tall is the trolley handle? Yes, the pedal height is adjustable between three different positions. Lower pedals are more stable at speed, and higher pedals allow for easier turning and more ground clearance. The trolley handle will extend to 31" from the ground, according to the latest info from Extreme Bull.

Is the motor shared with any other Wheels? The Rocket's motor is unique, it's a C40 hollow axle type. Historically, C40 motors have provided an excellent combination of speed and torque.

Is the Rocket weather resistant?Extreme Bull has confirmed that the Rocket follows the usual rule for all EUCs, which is that light rain and small puddles are no problem, but moderate to heavy rain and larger bodies of water are to be avoided wherever possible.

Does the Rocker support field weakening? The hardware is apparently capable of supporting it, but the 168V system allows for a such a high rotational speed without it that it hasn't been implemented.

How powerful is the headlight? Is it replaceable? The Rocket's headlight is 25W, and has a wide beam. It appears to use a mounting standard similar to the Sherman, and while Extreme Bull hasn't tried other headlight models, this could make things easier for DIY headlight swaps.
