There are a number of improved traits with these new King Song 18XL pedals; not only are they 2″/5cm  longer, but the geometry of the outer edge is a more oval shape, than previous rectangular one. This is meant to decrease the probability of scraping the pedals during tight turns.

The supporting brackets are the same for  tallhe new King Song Wheels, & should be compatible on the 14D/S, 16S, 18S, & 18L.
