A Closer Look at the Stigo B1

About Stigo: based in Estonia founded Rainer Nõlvak & Skype founder Jaan Tallinn, Stigo’s S Electric Bike has won several awards for its elegance & unique design. The B1 is the latest generation eBike, sporting larger wheels, better suspension, greatly enhanced performance to keep up with bike traffic.   

Special Edition B1: we are pleased to be the first to offer the B1 with an upgraded spec of 350W (vs 250W for the European model), 48V to provide a zipper acceleration & a max speed of 20MPH.   

Overview of the Stigo B1

One of the key attractions to the B1 eBike, is the convenient & easy folding mechanism; simply pull out the lynchpin from the lower suspension joint & the rear wheel will fold inward reducing the storage footprint by 1/3 from the unfolded position.

The handlebars also sides into the stem, making it just small enough to fit in the typical trunk of a car.

Can the Stigo B1 support a heavier load than the rated 265lb?It’s not recommended.

How capable is the B1 for climbing hills?With the upgraded 350W motor, a 175lb rider can expect to take on gradients of up to 15° with must effort; for heavier Riders the bike will struggle a bit more, but should be able to carry you up similar inclines.

Can you ship the eBike to other countries?Unfortunately because of restrictions in shipping high capacity lithium-ion batteries, we’re unable to send the B1 outside of North America.

Is the B1 water-resistant, can I use it in the rain?The Manufacturer’s recommendation is that you try to avoid excessively wet conditions, puddles & standing water. If the road surface is damp, or in a light drizzle it will be alright to use.

Can I use a rapid-charger for charging?
Yes, a 5A charger will be offered in the near future.

Will you be offering spare parts? What spares will I expect to need over time?Yes, part of being a ‘full service’ Company is that we offer the largest selection of spare parts for all our products. You will be able to find a list of available parts through our online store.

What type of warranty offered?We offer a one year warranty for the parts & labour. It does not include shipping costs, which may be between $50-$150 (within the US), depending on the distance from our repair center in Tucson, AZ. While other dealers of Electric Scooters typically only offer a 3-6 warranty for the battery pack, we stand by all our products with a full one year warranty. Exclusions to the warranty are wear-and-tear & improper use, please refer to our warranty page for the full terms & conditions.
