Included Power Pads

A good set of power pads is essential for utilizing all the power a Wheel has to offer, while also improving safety by keeping the rider "locked in" to the Wheel, especially during hard acceleration and braking. Because of this, we've partnered with renowned EUC accessories manufacturer Beidou to offer a set of bespoke Powderpads with custom precut Velcro

Frequently Asked Questions

Will Beidou be custom designing Powerpads to fit the unique contours of the Wheel?Yes, we are including a set of custom pads designed for the specifically for this model in every Aero box. Colored velcro kits are also available as an optional accessory, these kits come with plastic inserts to make the sides of the wheel more flush, for slightly better pad positioning.

What are the motor specs? Is the axle reliable? The Aero's thick axle, shared with Leaperkim suspension wheels, is more resilient than the traditional axle on Wheels like the MTen5+ and A2. The motor is different from the Falcon, which uses a similar thicker axle that won't snap, but the Aero's 2000W motor is more powerful.

What are the dimensions? With the pedals folded, the Aero is 24" tall, 18.5" long, and 8.4" wide. The trolley handle extends up to 34" from the ground.

Does the Aero use the same FastAce shocks as Leaperkim wheels, like the Lynx/Sherman-L, etc?NOSFET has a new shock supplier for the Aero, these have similar functionality and controls to the FastAce shocks for preload/rebound/compression. Several setup & informational videos on the Aero's suspension are available on NOSFET's YouTube channel, so far these shocks have proven to be very reliable.

Are the controller and display shared with the Patton-S, similar to how the Apex and Lynx controllers are shared? No, the controller is unique to the Aero, the physical footprint is smaller with 18x MOSFETs. The display has the same functionality, but it's a new design as well.

How are the pedals fitted onto the body? Are the pedals & brackets interchangeable with the Apex? The pedals are mounted directly to the frame, it's a unibody design, this helps save a bit of weight which is important for a compact, "everyday" wheel like the Aero. The pedals are also unique, and cannot be interchanged with Apex pedals.

What stock charger that is included & what is the maximum rate of charge? It comes with a stock 5A charger, & the maximum recommended rate of charge is 10A/1,260W, for less than 1hr to 80%!

How weather resistant is the Aero? The Aero is claimed to have an IPX6 rating, which indicates decent water resistance. However, the general rule for all wheels remains the same, which is that light rain and small puddles are okay, but moderate to heavy rain and larger bodies of water are to avoided wherever possible.
